MR-Multi-I/O Modbus RTU
Task
For different tasks in the building or system technology, digital and analog inputs/outputs for the acquisition of sensors or controls of actuators should be integrated into a Modbus RTU network (e.g. individual room control).
Solution
The Modbus module MR-Multi-I/O is a compact and quick-to-install solution to send digital and analog signals from the actuator and sensor level directly to a control unit in building automation via the Modbus RTU protocol connect. 29 I/Os are available for various tasks, some of which can be configured.
With a Modbus master, the inputs and outputs can be switched and queried via standard registers. The module address, bit rate and parity are set using two rotary switches on the front or by software.
Installation
- suitable for decentralized mounting on TH35 mounting rails according to IEC 60715 in electrical distributors.
- bus systems such as Modbus RTU offer various advantages:
- easier planning and installation of the building functions
- high flexibility in the use of the building, as the functions are freely configurable and can therefore be set and readjusted at any time and as required
